Privacy Policy

Scope

Nix Personal Assistant is a private, single-user personal automation application. It is operated solely for its owner's use and is not offered as a public service.

Google user data accessed

With the owner's authorization, the application may access Gmail messages and metadata, Google Calendar events, Google Drive files, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. It requests access only for features the owner has configured and uses.

How data is used

Google user data is used only to provide owner-requested personal-assistant and automation functions, such as monitoring and composing email, managing calendars, and reading or updating the owner's documents and spreadsheets.

Storage, processing, and sharing

Authorization credentials are stored in access-controlled credential storage on systems operated by the owner. Limited content, metadata, derived records, and operational logs may be stored in the owner's private systems when needed for automation, continuity, security, or audit purposes.

Data may be processed by infrastructure or AI service providers configured by the owner when necessary to perform an owner-requested function. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only for as long as needed for the configured personal workflows or the owner's recordkeeping requirements. The owner can revoke Google access at any time through the Google Account permissions page and can delete locally stored records from the systems under the owner's control.

Security

The owner uses access controls and other reasonable safeguards intended to protect credentials and personal data. No method of electronic storage or processing is completely secure.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
